SoldOnline Sets Local Area Record for 19MegaLitre Bore Water Licence Sale

The SoldOnline virtual auction platform sells so much more than bricks and mortar.  This week, SoldOnline successfully sold a Lower Gwydir Bore Water (19ML) Licence in Moree, NSW for $171,500, setting a local area record $40,000 above the previous record. With 8 registered online bidders, the auction attracted 34 bids and concluded, $31,500 over the reserve. Once the reserve was met at 3:56pm on 29th July, there were 28 further bids in the space of 17 minutes – a mammoth result.

Paul Kelly, Principal, Moree Real Estate, said that the positive result reflects how adoptable the SoldOnline platform is, with the agent having used SoldOnline to successfully auction a river water licence for the first time a few weeks ago.

“We have another bore water auction in Lower Gwydir, Moree – this time, it is 58ML starting on Monday 3rd August.  I am hoping we can go three for three with SoldOnline.”

David Scholes, leading Australian auctioneer and founder, SoldOnline says that the latest Irrigation licence sale shows the diversity of property-related products which can be sold on the platform.

“The SoldOnline platform helps agents get the results for the vendors.  We are fast becoming an essential tool for Australian agents, especially in rural areas.
